Gaming with a Hotspot PS4 I have a Unite Pro and I've tried port forwarding and dmz to be able to play online with friends on the PS4. Does anyone know what to do? Today I’d like to briefly explain how to create a wireless access point using your Mac mini with out any extra cost. What you need to have is: 1. Mac OS X lepord or higher. Note: Mac mini should have internet connection through Ethernet(Must be wired). Steps to setup: Step 1.
The MacBook Air's internet connection can be shared with other wireless computers. On the MacBook Air, open System Preferences, select sharing, start Internet Sharing.
If the MacBook Air gets its internet from Wifi, you share over Ethernet If the MacBook Air gets its internet from Ethernet, you share over WiFi As you want to share wirelessly (over Wifi) your MacBook Air must have an Internet connection via Ethernet. PS: A MacBook Air does not have an Ethernet connector so you'll have to buy an Ethernet-to-USB adaptor.
Ex: from Apple at the store: Kind regards. Greetings, I have tried multiple tutorials on how to accomplish this task. Even though it seem very straight forward configuration, I can't seem to get it to work. This simple setup work flawlessly on my MBP, but not my MBA.
While I'm trying to share my Airport via MBA USB ethernet to my iPhone and iPad, everytime I try, it breaks my USB ethernet connection. As soon as I disable connection sharing, it returns back to normal.
Does anyone, have any ideas on how to resolve this issue? Thanks in advance.
